No small print games. Here is exactly how this site operates.
This is a referral website
Campbelltown Roofers is a referral website for roofing services in the Macarthur region. When you call the number on this site or submit the quote form, your enquiry is passed to established, licensed and insured local roofing contractors who carry out the work.
The site itself is not the entity that climbs onto your roof. The licensed roofing contractor who attends is.
What that means in practice
- The quote, the contract and the warranty for any work come from the contractor who carries out the job, not from this website.
- Licensing and insurance are the contractor's, and they work to NSW Fair Trading requirements. You are entitled to ask to see licence and insurance details before work starts, and you should.
- Residential building work over $5,000 in New South Wales requires a written contract. Above $20,000 the home building compensation certificate must be attached to that contract before a deposit is taken or work begins. Those are statutory requirements, not optional extras.
- Any dispute about workmanship is between you and the contractor who performed the work, with NSW Fair Trading available as the usual avenue if it cannot be resolved directly.
Information on this site
The roofing information published here — about tile and metal roof failure modes, local housing stock, climate exposure, council heritage areas, asbestos handling and planning rules — is general information about the Macarthur region. It is not a diagnosis of your roof and it is not legal or planning advice.
Two specific cautions:
- Planning rules change. Whether a particular job is exempt development, or needs consent because of a heritage listing or conservation area, is a question for Campbelltown City Council or Camden Council about your specific address. Check it with them.
- Asbestos must be identified, not guessed. Where we mention bonded asbestos cement in older eaves, gables and outbuildings, that is a prompt to have material properly identified. Removal of more than ten square metres of bonded asbestos requires a licensed asbestos removalist who notifies SafeWork NSW beforehand.
Every roof is different. Nothing on this site replaces an inspection of your actual roof.
No reviews or ratings are displayed
You will not find star ratings, review counts or testimonials anywhere on this site, because there is no verified review history to publish. We would rather show you nothing than show you something invented. What is published instead is what is true: free inspections, written itemised quotes, licensed and insured contractors, and a written workmanship warranty.
Photographs
The photographs on this site illustrate roofing work and roofing faults of the kind described. They are not represented as images of specific customer properties, named customers or particular completed jobs.
